Size: Five buildings on 30-acre campus.  Total 270,000 sf.

Description:  The feature building on this campus is designed as a hurricane hardened building capable of resisting Category 5 hurricane wind storm pressures.  This 218,400 square‐foot facility houses The Pinellas County Emergency Operations Center and the County’s 9‐1‐1 call center, it is equipped with
state‐of‐the‐art technology to allow the County to have a centralized response center in case of emergencies and disasters. Other buildings on
the site that were hurricane hardened are the Communications facility, the Energy Plant, the Vehicle Maintenance Facility as well as the four‐level
Parking Garage.

Structure:  The superstructure of the five buildings consists of precast concrete walls, columns, double tees and hollowcore plank.

Service: HSI Engineering’s president was the Structural Engineer of Record for this project.  Project designed while employed at former company.
