Structure: This residence is located in a FEMA Zone-V and structurally hardened against hurricane wind pressures above the code required.  Ground floor designed with breakaway walls with elevated floors supported by concrete beams and columns.  Exterior walls are load bearing masonry, with wood floor truss floors.  Roof is designed with wood rafter framing rather than pre-engineered wood roof trusses.

Service: HSI Engineering’s president was the Structural Engineer of Record for this project.  Project design while employed at former company.
