Size: 21-story office tower conversion to 329 apartment units.

Scope: Structural scope include infilling existing floor openings in upper levels, designing a new loft level between existing floors, cutting openings for new elevator pit, reconfiguration of existing walls at lobby level, designing structural framing for a new pool at the amenities level, designing new architectural features at amenities level.  New covered connector between the apartments and adjacent conference center.  Structural analysis of the existing structure required where new work affected and modified the existing.

Service: HSI Engineering’s president was the project manager and primary structural engineer for this project.  Project designed while employed at former company.
